The Pregnancy Center hosts a variety of events and fundraisers throughout the year. These are easy projects to become involved with, whether you’re interested in individual, group, or church involvement. If you would like a staff member from the Center to come and speak to your church or Sunday School class about our needs and these opportunities for involvement, we are happy to do so! Baby Bottle Drive-Give to Live Every year on Sanctity of Life Sunday (in January), we kick off a new year of the Baby Bottle Drive. This fundraiser lasts all year long and is a great family or church project. Simply pick up one bottle, a bag of bottles, or several bags of bottles from the Pregnancy Center. Fill your bottle up with coins, bills, or checks until it is full. Return your full bottles to the H.E.L.P. Crisis Pregnancy Center, and the money you saved will be used to fund the ministry. Children enjoy this project since they get to take part in giving. To get your whole church involved, just pass out bottles to all interested families in your congregation!

WRCM-Carolina’s Largest Baby Shower New Life 91.9 hosts this event at the Pregnancy Center every January. We offer refreshments and tours of the building while the radio personalities share stories of lives touched by the ministry of Crisis Pregnancy Centers. We encourage those who come to donate supplies for babies and mothers. This is a great way for you to get to know us and for us to show you the fruits of God’s work.

Walkathon The Pregnancy Center’s annual United for Life Walkathon is held in the spring. Individuals volunteer to complete a 2-mile walk and obtain sponsors for the walk. The day of the Walkathon is an exciting event! At the 2010 Walkathon, we had a petting zoo, yard sale, silent auction, face painting, concessions, music, balloon rides, and inflated bouncy equipment for the children all in addition to the walking. All are welcome to come and support the Center whether they are walkers, sponsors, or just spectators. Banquet for Life The H.E.L.P. Crisis Pregnancy Center regularly hosts a Banquet for Life. This is a time to share information about the ministry, get to know the staff, have a special guest speaker, and pledge support for the Center. To reserve a seat or a table at the upcoming banquet, please call the Center.

Adopt-a-Client A few months before Christmas, we accept applications from clients to be “adopted” for Christmas. Those clients who are selected for the program are matched up with “sponsors” who buy some items from the children’s Christmas lists. We need volunteers to be sponsors who will help give these families a nice Christmas.
