Ultrasound... "Revealing life at the crossroads of decision"

Our mobile ultrasound unit is an extension of the ultrasound ministry of the H.E.L.P. Crisis Pregnancy Center. We also have an ultrasound unit in our building.

We use the RV unit to take our mobile ultrasound machine to locations that do not have ultrasound capabilities. The RV can also be parked near abortion clinics, hoping that women will stop before they get to the clinic to get a free ultrasound from us. Research shows that 85% of women who see their child in an ultrasound will choose to continue the pregnancy. This is a huge tool in the fight against abortion!

The RV also travels to the Crisis Pregnancy Centers in Lancaster, SC, and Concord, NC twice a month. If you are interested in receiving an ultrasound at either of these locations, please call those Centers to schedule an appointment.

Image Clear Ultrasound (ICU) is the company who built our RV with the ultrasound unit inside. ICU's purpose is to provide limited ultrasounds to pregnant women who would not be able to afford an ultrasound otherwise. These ultrasounds are performed by a trained nurse on women who have had a positive pregnancy test at a Pregnancy Center. ICU is not a diagnostic tool; rather the ICU machine is used to see if the baby is in the womb and to look for a heartbeat. An ICU ultrasound is not a substitute for prenatal care.¹

If you would like to become involved in our RV ministry, there are a variety of opportunities! We need individuals to drive the RV unit, nurses who are trained in ultrasound, peer counselors to ride along and speak with clients, workers to clean the inside and outside of the unit, and RV sponsors. A sponsor is an individual who gives a monthly or yearly sum to be used for maintenance, upkeep, gas, and ultrasound supplies for the RV.
